Section 94. Powers and duties of Mosque Officials.

Mosque Officials appointed under section 93 shall-

(a)

be responsible to look after a mosque in the manner and conduct appropriate thereto and in accordance with whatever direction given by the Majlis and the Religious Department from time to time;

(b)

subject to paragraph

(a)

of subsection (2) of section 98, be responsible to look after burial grounds in their

kariah masjid;

(c)

promptly inform the Majlis of all matters arising in their

kariah

that require the attention of the Majlis and especially with respect to the religion of Islam;

(d)

have power to refuse any person intending to deliver lectures in their mosques without permission in writing from the Majlis or Religious Department; and

(e)

exercise such other duties or powers as determined by the Majlis in their respective

tauliah
