PART IX - OFFENCES
Section 167. Misuse of verses from the Quran and Hadis.
Whoever in any place of public entertainment or in a place and circumstance which are improper uses any verse from the Quran or Hadis or words which are considered sacred by Muslims shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
