PART XXXIV - GENERAL PROVISIONS
Section 261. Irregularities.
(1) Non-compliance with these sections or any rule of practice in force shall not render the proceedings void unless the Court shall so order, but the Court may of its own motion or on application of any party set aside any proceedings wholly or in part as irregular, or order amendment on such terms as may be just.
(2) Any such application may be dismissed unless made within a reasonable time and before the applicant has taken any step in the proceedings with knowledge of the irregularity.
