PART V - PROCEDURE-GENERAL
Section 19. Oath and affirmation.
(1) The Court shall have power to administer oaths and affirmation.
(2) Evidence shall ordinarily be given on oath in a form binding upon Muslim persons, but the Court may on special grounds dispense with an oath and take evidence on affirmation.
(3) An affirmation shall be in the form "I, ....................... (name) solemnly affirm that my evidence shall be the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth".
