Rule 50. Service of notice, document, etc.

(1) Every officer or servant shall furnish to his Head of Department the address of his residence or any change thereof which shall be his address for the purpose of serving on him any notice or document required to be served under these rules or for the purpose of communication with him on any matter in relation these rules.

(2) Any document, notice or communication left at, or posted by ordinary post to, the address for service furnished under subrule (1) shall be deemed to have been duly served upon or communicated to the officer or servant.
