PART III - DUTY OF DISCIPLINARY CONTROL AND SUPERVISION

Rule 24. Duty of disciplinary control and supervision.

(1) It is the duty of every officer or servant to exercise disciplinary control and supervision over his subordinates and to take appropriate action in every case of breach of any of the provisions of these rules.

(2) An officer or servant who fails to exercise disciplinary control and supervision over his subordinates, or fails to take action against his subordinates who commit breach of discipline, shall be deemed to have been negligent in the performance of his duties and to be irresponsible, and shall render him liable for disciplinary action.
