Procedure In Cases Where Officer Or Servant Is Charged In The Criminal Court Or Imposed With An Order Of Detention, Banishment, Etc.




Rule 36. Procedure where there is an order of detention, banishment, etc.

(1) Where-
under any law relating to the security of the Federation or any part thereof, prevention of crime, preventive detention, restricted residence, banishment, immigration, or protection of women and girls, the Head of Department shall apply for a copy of the order from the appropriate authority. Upon receipt of a copy of such order, the Head of Department shall immediately submit it to the Disciplinary Committee and the Disciplinary Committee shall forthwith suspend the officer or servant from the exercise of his duties.

(2) The Head of Department shall forward a report to the Disciplinary Committee together with the record of service of the officer or servant, and shall recommend whether the officer or servant should-

depending on the extent the officer or servant has brought disrepute to the Majlis.
