Procedure In Cases Where Officer Or Servant Is Charged In The Criminal Court Or Imposed With An Order Of Detention, Banishment, Etc.




Rule 33. Responsibility of Head of Department where there is a criminal conviction.

Where criminal proceedings against an officer or servant result in his conviction, or where his appeal against conviction is dismissed, the Head of Department shall apply to the Registrar or Senior Assistant Registrar of the court for a copy of the court's decision. Upon receipt of the decision, the Head of Department shall send it to the Disciplinary Committee together with the record of service of the officer or servant, and shall recommend whether the officer or servant should-

depending on tire nature and seriousness of the offence committed in relation to extent the officer or servant has brought disrepute to the Majlis.
