(1) These Rules may be cited as the Syariah Court Civil Procedure (Sulh) Rules 2004.
(2) These Rules shall come into operation on 15 February 2004.
(3) These rules shall not apply to an application for divorce under the Islamic Family Law (State of Malacca) Enactment 2002 [Enactment No. 12 of 2002], and further proceedings in respect thereof shall be conducted in accordance with that Enactment.
