SYARIAH COURT CIVIL PROCEDURE (SULH) RULES 2004
Rule 2. Interpretation.
In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires—
“Enactment” means the Syariah Court Civil Procedure (State of Malacca) Enactment 2002 [Enactment No. 13 of 2002];
“Chairman” means Chairman of the Majlis Sulh mentioned in paragraph 5(1);
“public officer” includes the Registrar, Syariah Officer and an officer appointed under section 3(2) of Legal Aid Act 1971 [Act 26];
“hearing” means any proceeding in upon Court or in chambers.
