(1) The President shall appoint a number of Amils whom he thinks proper in any kampong or area in each Mukim. If at any time the work of the Amil is found to be unsatisfactory, the President may terminate his appointment. The Amil may resign his office at any time.
(2) The appoinments shall be in writing signed by the President.
(3) The Amil shall be paid an allowance by the Council commensurate with the zakat collection.
(4) The Amil shall follow the law of Hukum Shara' in carrying out his duties.
