SYARIAH COURT CIVIL PROCEDURE (SULH) RULES 2005
Rule 3.Interpretation
In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires—
“Chairman” means the Chairman of the Majlis Sulh mentioned in subrule 6(1);
“Enactment” means the Syariah Court Civil Procedure Enactment 2002
[Enactment No. 9 of 2002];
“hearing” means any proceedings in open Court or in Chambers;
“public officer” includes the Registrar and a legal officer appointed under subsection 3(2) of the Legal Aid Act 1971
[Act 26].
