(1) Where, after receiving a summons or an application for any cause of action, the Registrar is of the opinion that there is reasonable possibility of a settlement between the parties to the action, the Registrar shall—
(a) not fix the date for the trial of the action within the period of three months;
(b) fix a date, as soon as practicable, for the parties to hold sulh; and
(c) serve the notice of the date fixed for sulh on the parties.
(2) Subject to section 99 of the Enactment, any party to any proceeding may apply to the Court to refer a dispute to Majlis Sulh under these Rules.
