Rule 12. Cancellation of Registration.
(1) The Registrar may at any time cancel the registration of any religious school if he is satisfied that the school is in breach of any of the provisions under these Rules or the Administration of the Religion of Islam and the Malay Customs of Pahang Enactment 1982 or on any ground which is deemed expedient by the Majlis.
(2) Written notice on the intention to cancel the registration of the school be served on the school authority stating the ground or grounds for proposed cancellation.
(3) When the school authority receives notice under paragraph (2) of this Rule he may lodge an appeal to His Royal Highness the Sultan within thirty days from the date of the service of such notice.
(4) If no appeal has been lodged under paragraph (3) of this Rule or if such appeal having made is rejected, the Registrar shall strike the school off the register.
