Rule 27. Restriction

(1) No person shall carry out any practice as a Peguam Syarieor do any act as a Peguam Syarieunless he has been duly appointed as a Peguam Syarieunder these Rules.

(2) No person shall be carry out any practice as a Peguam Syarieor do any act as a Peguam Syarieif an order of suspension against him made under Rule 21(b)is still in force.

(3) Any person who contravenes subrule (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
