STATE OF PENANG RULES 1998
Rule 8. Order of Discharge.
(1) After a prisoner has completed his term of imprisonment according to law or if any fine, in respect of which a prisoner imprisoned pursuant to section 122 of the Enactment is satisfied by payment or otherwise, the Court shall issue an order of discharge directed to the officer in charge of the prison where the prisoner is confined, to set him at liberty.
