PART II - ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PEGUAM SYARIE COMMITTE
Rule 4. Member of the Committee
(1) The Committee shall consist of-
(a) a member of the Majlis, as Chairmain;
(b) the Chief Registrar of the Syariah Appeal Court, as Secretary;
(c) the Chief Syariah Prosecutor;
(d) the State Legal Adviser or his representative ; and
(e) not more than two other members who are learned in Islamic Law.
(2) The members mentioned in paragraph 4(1)(e)shall be appointed by MAINPP.
(3) Subject to Rule 5, a member of the Committee appointed under paragraph 4(1)(e)shall hold the post for a period of three years from the date of his appointment and he shall be eligible for reappointment.
