Rule 13. Saving and transitional provisions.
(1) Nothing in these Rules shall affect any act done or proceedings commenced by the Majlis before the commencement of these Rules or by a Disciplinary Committee established under the Enactment and all such acts and proceedings shall be deemed to have been done or commenced by the Majlis or the said Disciplinary Committee as if these Rules had been in force.
(2) Nothing in these Rules shall be deemed to affect or take away the powers, privileges or protection conferred upon the Majlis or any member thereof under the Enactment.
(3) Any disciplinary proceeding in respect of an officer commenced by the said Disciplinary Committee before the commencement of these Rules may be disposed of by the said Disciplinary Committee, notwithstanding the provisions of rule 2,3 or 4 as the Disciplinary Committee shall have all the powers of a Disciplinary Committee established under these Rules.
(4) Any appeal against the decision of the Committee made under subrule (3) shall be made to the Disciplinary Appeal Board established under section 25E of the Enactment.
