Rule 5. Declaration of interest.

(1) If the Chairman or any member of a Disciplinary Committee has an interest in any disciplinary proceeding, he shall declare the nature of that interest and such declaration shall be recorded in the minutes of the meeting at which the declaration is made.

(2) The Chairman or any member of a Disciplinary Committee who has an interest in any disciplinary proceeding shall not take part in the deliberation or decision of the Disciplinary Committee in that proceeding.
