CHAPTER 3 — DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDING WITH A VIEW TO DISMISSAL OR REDUCTION IN RANK

Regulation 39. Further grounds for dismissal.

(1) If, in the course of an investigation by the Investigation Committee, further grounds for the dismissal of the officer under investigation are disclosed, the Investigation Committee shall inform the appropriate Disciplinary Committee of the further grounds.

(2) If the Disciplinary Committee thinks fit to proceed against the officer on such further grounds, the officer shall be given a written statement of those grounds, and the procedures set out in regulations 36, 37 and 38 shall apply in respect of the further grounds as they apply in respect of the original grounds.
