Regulation 54. Service of notice, documents, etc.

(1) Every officer shall furnish to his Head of Department the address of his residence or any change of that address and that address shall be his address for the purpose of serving on him any notice or document required to be served under these Regulations or for the purpose of communicating with him on any matter in relation to these Regulations.

(2) Any notice, document or communication left at or posted to or sent by any other reasonable means to the address for service furnished under subregulation (1) shall be deemed to have been duly served on or communicated to the officer.
