PART III - SELECTION OF JAWATANKUASA QARYAH

Rule 4. Selection of members of Jawtankuasa Qaryah.

(1) The Religious Administrative Officer of the district shall submit and make recommendations to the Yang di-Pertua on the names of the anak qaryah in the qaryah of a mosque who in his view are suitable to be appointed as members of the Jawatankuasa Qaryah .

(2) MAINPP, if it is satisfied, may appoint the persons that have been recommended to be the Chairman and members of Jawatankuasa Qaryah. If MAINPP is not satisfied with any of the names recommended, MAINPP may request for other names to be submitted or appoint any anak qaryah for the qaryah masjid who in MAINPP' s view are suitable to be Chairman or members of the Jawatankuasa Qaryah.

(3) As soon as possible after MAINPP has made the appointment under subrule (2), the Chairman appointed shall hold a meeting of the Jawatankuasa Qaryah to appoint from amongst the appointed members the Chairmen of bureaus established under Rule 21.
