PART VI – MEETINGS

Rule 23. Special meeting of Jawatankuasa Qaryah.

(1) A special meeting of the Jawatankuasa Qaryah for a qaryah masjid may be held at any time if an urgent matter arises, and each of such meetings shall be held to discuss one specific matter only.

(2) Notwithstanding anything in subrule (1) a special meeting of the Jawatankuasa Qaryah may be held upon the written request of one third of the members of the Jawatankuasa Qaryah for a qaryah masjid to discuss an urgent matter.

(3) The Secretary shall call for a special meeting of the Jawatankuasa Qaryah within seven (7) days after receipt of the request under subrule (2).

(4) Subrule 22(2) to (7) shall apply to special meetings held under subrule (1).
