Regulation 11. Fulfillment of vacancy
(1) The appointment of a new member of the Jawatankuasa Kariah to fulfill the vacancy of the member whose appointment has been terminated under regulation 9, revoked, suspended or resigned from his office under regulation 10, shall be as follows:
(a) if the number of members terminated, revoked, suspended or resigned from office is not more than three, the Religious Administration Officer may recommend the name of a new member and submit it to the Chief Executive Officer of Majlis for consideration and approval; or
(b) if the number of members terminated, revoked, suspended or resigned from office is more than three, the appointment of a new member shall be made in accordance with the procedure as prescribed under regulation 6,
provided that, the Majlis may dissolve any Jawatankuasa Kariah if the number of members terminated, revoked or suspended or resigned from office is more than half. The Majlis may give any further direction in relation to it.
(2) Any appointment which does not comply with subregulations (1)(a) and (b), commits an offence under these Regulations.
