Regulation 6. Method of appointment of members of the Jawatankuasa Kariah
(1) An Electoral Committee presided by Orang Besar Jajahan and consists of the District Officer, Religious Administration Officer and Penghulu Mukim with the Pegawai Penyelaras Masjid Daerah as the secretariat, shall recommend to the Majlis, members of the Jawatankuasa Kariah for positions as stipulated in paragraphs 5(1)(a) to (j).
(2) The Majlis shall consider the recommendation and may accept, reject or replace any persons recommended as the Majlis thinks necessary.
(3) If the Majlis reject any nominations, the Electoral Committee shall propose a new nomination in accordance with subregulation (1).
