Regulation 8. Duration of appointment
(1) The members of the Jawatankuasa Kariah shall hold office for a term of three years and may be reappointed if the Majlis thinks fit.
(2) Notwithstanding subregulation (1), the Majlis may, at any time, terminate the appointment without giving any reasons.
(3) Any person replacing the member whose appointment has been terminated under regulation 9, revoked or resigned from his office under regulation 10, shall hold the office for the remainder of the term of the members of the Jawatankuasa whose appointment has ceased.
