RELIGIOUS TEACHING AND LECTURING SUPERVISORY REGULATIONS 2013

PART IV - GENERAL

Regulation 23. Exemption.

(1) This regulation is not applicable to -

(a)

members of the Majlis;

(b)

Mufti from any State in Malaysia;

(c)

Religious Officer;

(d)

religious teacher appointed by the State or Federal Government who teach or give lectures to students in school or institution where they officially work; and

(e)

any person in the opinion of the Majlis possesses the suitable qualification or experience.

(2) The Majlis may, at any time, revoke the exemption granted under subregulation (1) without any reason and the revocation shall be informed to the person involved.

(3) Regulation 17 is not applicable if the speaker is invited by any one or authority under subregulation (1) and for those who has been issued a Teaching Tauliah under regulation 6.
