PART IX - PENALTY
Regulation 33. Penalty
(1) Any person found guilty of an offence under subregulations 5(3), 11 (2), 12(2), 16(1), 19(4), 20(1) and 20(7) for which no penalty is expressly provided shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding RM1000.00 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months.
(2) All criminal proceeding in relation to offences under these Regulations shall be initiated in the Syariah Court.
