Regulation 3. Appointment of the Jawatankuasa Kariah

(1) Unless exempted, the Majlis shall appoint a Jawatankuasa Kariah, for every kariah masjid in the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan.

(2) For a masjid without kariah, the Majlis shall establish a Masjid Administration Committee, comprising suitable and qualified members, appointed by the Majlis.

(3) If there is more than one masjid in a kariah, for masjid which has not been made a Jawatankuasa Kariah, the Majlis shall appoint a committee for administering the masjid and the committee shall be responsible to its Jawatankuasa Kariah.

(4) For the purpose of this regulation, the committe established under subregulations (2) and (3) shall be subject to the provision of these Regulations.
