Rule 10. Vacancy of office
(1) The vacancy of office of Assistant Registrar occurs when an Assistant
Registrar:
(a) dies;
(b) resigns from office;
(c) is terminated from office; or
(d) is absent from his kariah for more than a month continuously without the written permission of the Pegawai Tadbir Agama.
(2) Where a vacancy of office of Assistant Registrar occurs, the Pegawai Tadbir Agama shall notify the Majlis of that fact and nominate a replacement to fill the vacancy.
(3) During the vacancy of office, the Pegawai Tadbir Agama may direct an Assistant Registrar of another suitable kariah masjid to carry out the duties of an Assistant Registrar at the kariah masjid where the vacancy of office occurs.
