Pk. P.U. 31/2013 ASSISTANT REGISTRAR OF MUSLIM MARRIAGES, DIVORCES AND RUJU’ RULES 2013
Rule 9. Termination of appointment
(1) Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan may, on the recommendation of the Majlis, terminate the appointment of any Assistant Registrar on any of the following grounds;
(a) he has been convicted of a criminal offence by a competent Court;
(b) he has not complied with the Enactment, these Rules, the regulation or order of the Majlis or the Department; or
(c) he has acted in a manner or has done an action which in the opinion of the Majlis is prejudicial to the image of the Majlis or the Department of Islamic Religious Affairs or the administration of Islam in the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan.
(2) Pending the decision to terminate to be approved by Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan, the Majlis may suspend an Assistant Registrar from carrying out his duties.
(3) Where an Assistant Registrar has been suspended from carrying out his duties, the relevant Pegawai Tadbir Agama may direct an Assistant Registrar of another suitable kariah masjid to carry out the duties of the Assistant Registrar who has been suspended from carrying out his duties.
