(1) An application for the admission as a Peguam Syarie may be objected to by any person through the Secratary of the Committee.
(2) An objection referred to in subrule (1) shall be submitted in writing to the Secretary of the Committee with the grounds of objections and the Secretary of the Committee shall forward the said objection to the Committee.
(3) The Committee may, if it finds the objection is reasonable, request by a registered letter written clarification or reply from the applicant.
(4) The applicant shall provide the Committee with written clarification or reply within a period of fourteen days from the date of receipt of the said letter.
(5) The Committee may reject the application by the applicant if no written clarification or reply is received from him or if written clarification or reply is received, the Committee is not satisfied with the written clarification or reply, and the applicant shall be notified of the decision of the Committee by registered post.
