Rule 29. Decision of Appeal Committee

(1) The Appeal Committee may-

(a) confirm the decision of the Committee;

(b) confirm the decision of the Committee as regards the conduct of the

Peguam Syarie

but vary the punishment to a lesser punishment; or

(2) The Appeal Committee shall, as soon as practicable after making its decision under subrule (1), notify that decision to the Committee, the Peguam Syarie, the Chief Registrar, the Chief Syariah Prosecutor and the Secretary by registered post.

(3) The decision of the Appeal Committee is final.
