Regulation 8. Appointment of Amils.
(1) For the purposes of collecting Zakat and Fitrah the Chief Custodian may appoint persons as Amils and any person so appointed shall be issued with a Certificate of Appointment in the form set out in the first Schedule.
(2) An Amil appointed under this regulation shall have the power to collect Zakat and Fitrah and deal with the Zakat and Fitrah so collected as directed by the Chief Custodian.
