Regulation 3. Insertion of new regulation 8A.
There shall be inserted the following new regulation after regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations-
"Regulation 8A. Taking of census.
(1) Every Amil shall in each year before the end of the month of Rejab conduct a census of the heads of, and also members of their families within his area of operation as specified in Form M.1.7 and shall also conduct a census of those persons who under the Shariah Law are entitled to receive Zakat and Fitrah within his area of operation as specified in Form M.1.13.
(2) All Census taken under this regulation must reach the Chief Custodian before the end of the month of Rejab.
(3) All census taken in accordance with this regulation which has been certified by District Officers or Sarawak Administrative Officers shall be deemed to be correct."
