ADMINISTRATION OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS
(ADMINISTRATION OF MOSQUES) RULES 1987
Rule 2. Interpretation
In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires-
"Anak Mukim" menas the persons permanently or habitually resident in any mukin Masjid;
"Enactment" means the Administration of Islamic Religious Affairs Enactment 1986;
"Committee" means the Committee constituted under these Rules;
"Majlis" shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Enacment;
"Masjid" shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Enactment;
"Masjid Mukim" means a mosque in a mukim Masjid as specified by the Commissioner and includes Government Mosques;
"Mukim Masjid" shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Enactment;
"Commissioner" shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Enactment.
