Rule 8. Cancellation of registration.

(1) The Commissioner may at any time cancel the registration of any Islamic school if he is satisfied that the school is in breach of any of the provisions under these rules or the Enactment or on any ground which is deemed expedient by the Commissioner.

(2) A written notice on the intention to cancel the registration of the Islamic school shall be served on the manager of the Islamic school giving him an opportunity to show cause why the registration should not be cancelled.

(3) If any Islamic school is aggrieved by the decision under the paragraph (2) the manager may, within thirty days from the date of the decision, appeal to the Majlis whose decision shall be final.
