REGISTRATION AND CONTROL OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS SCHOOL RULES 1988

Rule 5. Application for registration.

(1) Any person or body may apply for the registration of any place as an Islamic school in accordance with the requirement of these rules.

(2) An application for the registration of an Islamic School shall be made by the manager of the school concerned and addressed to the Commissioner in Form 1 as prescribed in the Schedule.

(3) A fee of $10.00 is payable for every application.

(4) Upon receipt of an application the Commissioner shall consider such application and either approve or reject the application.

(5) Where approval has been given, the Commissioner shall fortwith register the Islamic school and issue to the applicant a Certificate of Registration in Form 2 as prescribed in the Schedule subject to such conditions as specified by the Commissioner.

(6)A fee of $10.00 is payable for every Certificate of Registration.
