Tr. P.U. 16/88 REGISTRATION AND CONTROL OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS SCHOOL RULES 1988
Rule 2. Interpretation.
In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires-
"Commissioner" shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Enactment;
"Department" shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Enactment;
"Enactment" means the Administration of Islamic Religious Affairs Enactment 1986;
"Islamic School" means any Islamic Religious school in the state or any place which includes a mosque, madrasah, surau, balaisah, markas, pondok and kindergarden where fifteen or more persons are enlisted to learn or to be taught subjects which include any subject relating to the religion of Islam but does not include any Islamic Religious school under the control of the Ministry of Education and the Department of Religious Affairs, Terengganu;
"Majlis" shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Enactment;
"Manager" means any person or body responsible in the management of the Islamic school;
