Seksyen 157 Enakmen Ibu adalah digantikan dengan yang berikut-

"Section 157. Khalwat.

Any Muslim person found in retirement with and in suspicious proximity with a member of the opposite sex, whether a Muslim or not, other than a person, who by reason for consanguinity, affinity or fosterage such Muslim person is forbidden by Muslim law to marry, shall be guilty of khalwat and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or with both, or, in the case of a second or subsequent offence, with a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or with both.".
